  • Handout Packet

What Does Polyamory Look Like? is a companion book that accompanies the curriculum as a resource to provide more comprehensive information about polyamory for curriculum leaders. This companion book is also authored by Mim Chapman, the author of the polyamory curriculum.

UUPA is interested in opportunities to field test the curriculum with congregations or leadership events. Contact the author, Mim Chapman, for more information about field testing.

A note about the Curriculum Title

This polyamory curriculum is titled Love Makes a Family: Understanding and Welcoming People in Diverse Relationship Patterns into our UU Congregations

During General Assembly 2015, UUPA learned that the title Love Makes a Family: Portraits of LGBT People and their Families pre-dated UUPA's curriculum. After General Assembly, Mim Chapman, the author of UUPA's polyamory curriculum, contacted the Family Diversity Project to initiate a conversation about our overlapping titles. After consideration, the UUPA board of trustees decided to maintain the original title of the polyamory curriculum. If you have questions about the title, please contact UUPA.

The polyamory curriculum is available now.
